The Nebula Gallery is the newest addition to the Eugene McDermott Library. It is located in the lobby of our Special Collections and Archives Division which is on the 3rd floor in 3.504. The Art & Science of Aviation Photography:
A Photography Exhibition by Jay Miller

Description:
The Art & Science of Aviation Photography exhibit displays just over 20 photos taken by Jay Miller during his 50-year career as an aerial photographer. The exhibit displays some of Miller’s favorite photos taken while he was aboard a broad spectrum of aircraft including hot air balloons, helicopters, sailplanes and high-performance military fighters. Miller, who specializes in air-to-air and static photography, has received many accolades for his photography including the International Society for Aviation Photography George Hall Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.

Artist Reception & Lecture:
This exhibit is in conjunction with the George W. Jalonick III and Dorothy Cockrell Jalonick Memorial Distinguished Lecture Series. This lecture is free and open to the public, but registration is required. A reception will follow Miller’s talk in Inspiration Hall just outside the ballroom.
