Police Response Times Under Scrutiny

The Dallas Morning News reports that responses to police calls in Dallas were slower in 2018 than in the previous two years. Alex Piquero, Ashbel Smith Professor of Criminology and Associate Dean for Graduate Program, said response times have been an issue for departments across the country as they face staffing difficulties.
