What is CU-SeeMe?
CU-SeeMe is a low bandwidth, internet video conferencing program. It runs on Macintoshes and IBM-PC's (and clones). Of course, you need a sound-capable PC if you are using a PC (all Macs are sound-capable), and you need a high speed (ethernet, ISDN) connection. UNIX users may also connect to a CU-SeeMe reflector using the MBone programs nv and VAT. CU-SeeMe software is freeware that is developed by the CU-SeeMe Consortium. A commercial 'value-added' version has been developed by White Pine. Free 30-day demos can be downloaded.
